Customer Review What a wonderful three night visit over the May 2009 Memorial Day weekend. Lovely staff and comfortable bed and clean room. The microwave and refigerator came in very handy. The new Dish TV service was unexpected! The restaurant was great with a variety of foods available. The proximity to Zion and Bryce was just what we wanted. The sounds of the creek behind the motel was delightful. I had stayed here several times years ago and it was nice to revisit and enjoy the area. Plan to return in the future. John Mayfield

Customer Review My husband and I stayed there for three nights in May 2009. Yes, the outside looks a little suspect, but don't be fooled! The room was clean, good sized, had a flat screen TV and satellite TV, new mattress and pillows, microwave and fridge, and the staff was very accommodating. The location was perfect as we went to both Zion and Bryce during our stay, and then went on to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It was perfect for us, and the price was right! Jackie Moore

Customer Review: We've stayed two nights at the Golden Hills Motel, and the price value ratio is quite good. The Motel seems not very interesting from the outside, but the rooms are spacious, well equipped and over all CLEAN! The most pleasant surprise have been the owners and staff and the restaurant. Very friendly, most helpful and the food was great. On the contrary of most of the restaurants we've encountered on our way, the menu was not limited to steak x, steak y and steak z. I've been so glad to have some home made food, cooked with sauces and not just the usual and all this for more than reasonable prices! Unfortunately our schedule did not allow as to stay one or two more nights, because we felt really good at this Motel. Of course the place is not fancy, but as a price value level I regret not to be able to put more than 5 on the scale. Definitely for another stay in the region, we'll stay there again and we recommend the place to other travellers. Thanks for the nice time spent in your place, we've really enjoyed. 8-13-2008... This was verbally spoken to the Golden Hills Manager upon departure.

I stayed at The Golden Hills Motel 18 months ago. The people were friendly at the front desk and helpful. The location was great. I spent time going back and forth to Zion National Park, North Coyotee Buttes and other attractions. Also, the price was quite reasonable for a quiet and clean room. Thanks, Mike Hanneman

Fodor Review: This clean and simple establishment right at Mount Carmel Junction is an inexpensive and no-frills lodging option. Its... diner serves good, basic country-style fare like country-fried steak, liver and onions, and homemade breads and pies.'

Testimonial -...When we went into our room I was pleasantly surprised! The bed was nice, the linens were nice, the pillows, carpet, bathroom, all very nice. We had a little fridge, microwave, sattelite TV, roomy closet, king-sized bed and free wireless internet service to boot!! The air conditioner worked well too... REVIEW FROM Trip Advisor'

Frommers Review: A good choice for those on a budget, the economical, well-maintained Golden Hills Motel offers modern rooms that are simply and comfortably furnished, and many have lovely views of the East Fork of the Virgin River. Suites and family units that sleep up to six are especially attractive...'

Testimonial- My wife and I stayed here in 2006 and enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very clean and had a fridge, microwave, sattelite TV, nice size closet, king-sized bed and free wireless internet service. The food in their restaurant was very good and they gave you a good portion for the money. We are thinking of going back this April. We loved how close it is to Zion and Brice National Parks. Next we want to see the Grand Canyon- Joe Polinsky
